I'm packed up and, ready to go just a few more socks, in my bag I'll throw a few more loose ends to tie up here 3 more days and I'll be there leaving this life, in the city of my birth another land another country another language a far off place over 5,000 miles away from my nearest friend or family Just 2 bags one with warm dry clothes another containing the tools of my trade 2 cameras a computer notebook and pens foreign phrase books maps and my papers nothing more to start a new life out in the cold cold of the former Soviet Union a new life a new way of living so much to learn so much to teach so much to love Have knowledge, will travel... |

This reminded me of the best days of my younger years, when I would pack up a bag in Europe and move from one "Monkey's Club" to the next trying to see the world I was...and never finished. If this is your fate, enjoy every second of the culture, food, and the people. It is experiences like these that make us more accepting of our fellow man eventually later on in life. Well done. |
