The Actor I smile and I walk, I smile and I talk Look ! What do you see? An actor,it is'nt me. See how clever I get, A performing marionette. Acting out my play, My actors false display In the deep of the night When I pray for the light As my sins come crowding home I am myself:broken and alone. arthur |

Arthur, it is good to see you posting to others with replies and now I see written words from you. I hope this is not a true picture of your feelings today. I would love to see some smiles in your next post. sincerely, latearrival'jo |

My daughters are involved in the local drama scene, so I get where you're coming from on a number of levels. I like how your poem highlights both masks. Hopefully this is not your only character. Peace. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |
