We’ve known both highs and crushing lows
for such is life that’s how it goes,
our up and down this in and out
has shaped our days, without a doubt -
and who can know what lies ahead
while we have breath, we are not dead
but how we struggle with our fate -
We fill in time, drink, find a mate.
Each day we wake and then we rise
to see this world through newborn eyes;
This day a gift or so we’re told
though some days wane before we’re old.
No matter what the future brings
it’s in this moment that life sings
so sing out loud when troubles come
remembering gifts and days of sun.
When this moment’s gone - it’s gone
but joy lends grace to carry on.

Oh thank you for sharing this! Exactly what I needed to read tonight.. loving it, it`s so true! Especially this part:
