It happened only yesterday, (so it seems) A young man came upon My porch to get permission, To take my daughter to the prom.
I told this boy I'm sorry, I wouldn't loan him my old Ford, Much less my baby daughter Not even to the store.
My reasoning is simple, Why I'd submit to neither, When I was young and rowdy, I might throw a rod in either!
But if you can get by my son (My baby daughter's brother) And then get past his puppies You can have her and her mother!

Hah! That puny son of yours wouldn't bother me...neither would that harmless pooch. What would scare me would be having you for a father-in-law!!!! (even for one as beautiful as yore daughter).
Great pics, by the way. You have a terrific looking son and daughter. I'm assuming they're adopted?

By golly Toe your wife and daughter will be safe for sure while you have those pooches.
They are a lot better than having a burglar alarm. Great pictures and words. Loved it.

Oh, what good days I've had meeting the parents of girlfriends. Knowing me, and being propositioned that-
My only reply would be a smirk and 'That's a deal.'

Yo, Toe! You sure do grow 'em big out your way. I think I'd just have second thoughts crossing the yard with all those dog-bombs. Talk about your anti-personel devices. Come to think about it, I've got two teenage daughters... perhaps I could borrow those pooches and that hulk of a son of yours a time or two. Great looking family you got there. Peace!"We'll chase them like rats across the tundra."
