There was a time that I fear nothing and no one There was a time that nothing could stop me There was a time that I was the luckiest person on the face of the earth I loved you then with the same abandonment that I love you now Time and distance has only made our love stronger It has survived the test to time, of consequence, of other people Once again you look into my eyes Showing me without words what you still have for me Once again you take me in your arms, and all that we are battling fades away A pull so strong that we can’t stay away No matter how hard we have tried, we can’t keep away So many things to consider, how fair is this? Can we survive what is to come, the fight we have ahead Will we lose each other once again, lost in responsibility and self sacrifice? Completely detaching from all that is a reminder, of this love that has nerve died A love that has laid dormant for all this time Getting stronger, nurturing itself with the memories of us We have love each other all our lives, even though we went our separate ways It’s what makes this insane, how we could still be so much in love We are each other’s saviors, no one has ever been able to take that away We pledged our love for each other the day our hearts met and became one They never separated when we fell apart, holding on until the time was right So here we are different lives apart, yet loving each other with the magnitude of time Is this the right time, is this why we have promised to never be apart again…… Jen--->MindBodySoul |
