Rambles of You I have walked over water for you That once sprung deep from the sea The trees still bend in the middle As we take time each day just to breathe Their branches reach to embrace you But you simply refuse to see I have shared secrets now aloft in the echoes That once spilled over my face with the rain They drifted on white clouds of tomorrow And now have hidden our deepest of pain They wiped out written-off memories Forever erased from my brain I have dusted the frame that is broken and blue The border fences bitter lines on your face Like jewelry tucked within cedar boxes of old You are forgotten and out of place Each breath we take cuts welts into our hearts There is no end to this emotional race - Alison [This message has been edited by Alison (05-31-2010 03:18 AM).] |

(((Alison))) this is so intense, most beautifully written and very poignant in its melancholy. Love, Margherita |

"I have shared secrets now aloft in the echoes That once spilled over my face with the rain They drifted on white clouds of tomorrow And now have hidden our deepest of pain They wiped out written-off memories Forever erased from my brain" Sad but wonderful writing Ali dear. It seems that in our intense emotions some our best writing surfaces...very real, emotional and with the authenticity of a true poet who's heart has to the scar to prove it..very well done.ww |
