All she ever wanted was a man to hold her tight, Someone to give, someone to live, And keep her warm at night, All she ever asked for, was a man with a heart so true, Someone to share, someone to care, And whisper: I love you, All she ever needed was a man that wanted the same, Someone to please, someone to tease, And not play stupid games, All she ever hoped for, was an honest loving man, Someone to keep, someone to sleep, And give her as much happiness as he can, All she ever dreamed of, was a man that understood, Someone to kiss, someone she’d miss, And treat her the way he should, All she ever wished for, was to wake up in his arms, Someone that made her feel, the way he did, And someone with all his charms, All the things she wanted, she hoped for every day, Somehow, sadly looking back on it now, It never turned out that way. The answer is always NO, Until the question is asked. |
