Hope flowed like oil from my fingertips
fueling the lamp burning adult and midnight things
beneath your perfect collarbone;
whispered visible by moonlight
pouring like water through your window.

My heart beat outside my chest
as I scraped gently the night from your entirety
with the callouses on my hands
I memorized you in the darkness.

Hearing your lungs expand with pleased oxygen
I continued to taste your skin
to fold my feelings into harmless words I said quietly in the silence
laying them down on you like a blanket warmed
by someone large,
like me.

This was a very visual piece and very well done. And you do look like a large guy too, LOL...my son is a UFC fighter and he's a bear, as I assume you may be. Enjoyed the write.
