there was a country music club about halfway between our places I put on my cheap cowboy hat bought a two dollar beer for each of us and danced with you there. I think you're wonderful, I told you just like I did when I saw you to your door that first velvet summer night together when you blew wonderful back to me with goodbye words that dripped silver all over my skin and we were both oil that night creating a new viscous solution that lubricated our aching heart joints better than anything we'd tried before. Fall in love early, fall in love often. |
