“To the Intelligence,” I hear in distant weave, A place to go, for thoughts to thread, A far away reprieve. A place away from worry Where fingers naturally tread Upon the keys of ivory Or upon a pencil’s lead. To a place of wavy hair To hills near pleasant streams To those of warmth and those who care To those within our dreams. To the Intelligence, a place of make believe, Where colors twist in neon gleams To the growing bumbled breeze. Not far from here, we’ll reach the place Where anger dries to dust, From its niche we'll see new light From darkened forests’ trees. |

Thanks, Ida. It's good hearing from you again. I don't know what I'd do without the a few of the multi-I's, Intelligences, or rather interest areas. Thank goodness for the arts. What stress relievers they are! Again, thanks. ~misce |

A place away from worry Where fingers naturally tread Upon the keys of ivory Or upon a pencil’s lead. Ahhh....what would I have done without some of those places you mentioned, my friend. Good to read you! |

Yes, I often imagine a sanctuary where music and art take precedance over anger. I'm not always crazy about rhymed poetry. But you rhymes are clever and enhance the poem. I look forward to reading more of your poems. |

I remember our conversations. I smile at "Intelligence" as I truly believe I know who might be talking to your hear, at the moment. Of course, I could be wrong. But I'm not, right? ![]() ![]() |
