It was Bally's birthday
He was dancing to the Twist
Singing "Midnight Train To Georgia"
With Gladys and the Pips.

Toerag asked old Balladeer,
'Just how old are you?"
Balladeer replied and sighed;
"I just turned 62."

Then Balladeer looked at his lap,
Thinking what it once could do,
Said: "If you were only still alive,
You'd TOO be sixty two."

My hubby is 51 and his "lap" acts like its 18 so I hope it keeps having many many birthdays!
