Dare to Sing As we journey through this life Many thoughts we accumulate Some as sharp as a knife Other we just accommodate In some moments we behave Unlike the courageous of the land Hiding fearful in our caves Unwilling to lend even a hand Though our courage seems amiss When we stand and look away Ignorance is no longer bliss When the darkness turns to day To hide in the attic Will not silence thunder To get rid of guilt's static Or load that they're under We must leap to the defence Of the helpless and weak Wipe the tears from the lens Become the hero that they seek Dare to sing the new song That heals the wounded heart From all that went wrong When their hearts came apart. |

You're welcome. Most of us or if not all of us have had the feeling of our hearts coming apart...nothing compares to hearing the song of unconditional love when that happens. |

Dare to sing the new song That heals the wounded heart From all that went wrong When their hearts came apart. Walt that is a very noble undertaking my friend. You wrote it well. Lindsay |

Hiding in the attic while the weak are oppressed is no way to solve the problem. Like you say we have to dare to sing a new song. |
