We did our annual outing, My little girls and me… We acclaimed our annual shouting When things were tight and we… Well, we traveled into tomorrow With hope of our future clear For given age and given sage We’re never sure not to fear… Results of our outing will transpire Within a day or two But now we shall conspire And reap [pray not] what others rue… Freedom’s window and all that is Of what shall transpire at tomorrow’s door… A sun’s shining, a moment’s quiz Could we ask for anything more? ~*~ That’s it…just a reminder…ladies… And it you don’t get it…? That’s okay. You’re probably too young. ![]() Boys/men? If YOU get it…then remind Your ladies… And that’s all that Sunshine wrote. |

as a grandfather who has only 1 grandaughter (and she lives in Romania) whom he rarely sees, I can relate...my girls are both teaching school in Romania, so I guess I can add my 12 year old granddaughter to them and refer to them all as my girls (I will get to see them all in June and we are looking forward to an outing just like you described...thanks for sharing |

I do believe the girls are overwhelming the men just now...as "the girls" are referring, of course, to an annual mammogram. Guys...this is true enough. Get your gals into those annual mammos'...we may scream a little...or ouch a little, or even arch unnaturally.... but they need to be done! |

Freedom’s window and all that is Of what shall transpire at tomorrow’s door… A sun’s shining, a moment’s quiz Could we ask for anything more? Dear Karilea, you're like good wine, you are getting better with age. A very enjoyable post. I loved it. Take care. Lindsay |

Well, we traveled into tomorrow With hope of our future clear For given age and given sage We’re never sure what not to fear… Dear Karilea, a lovely poem my friend and I do hope you won't take offence at the word I added. Love and a big hug. Lindsay |
