Climbing Mountains Barefoot My selfish heart knows no different, nothing other than holding you, my foolish mind wanders off to memory, to all, it seems, I ever knew. I'm not missing anything that you can give to me, it's why I have to leave I'm certain you'll agree. I'll never be quite capable of forgetting about you even in old age or with someone new. I do not appreciate this selfish heart of mine the tunnel vision of a foolish mind and the nights of linger longer, asking why, climbing mountains barefoot, trying to reach goodbye. |
