soldier blue blue depths, love and pain share the water. blood red, dark, slow memories, edges with contempt for the present. grey weight, oppressive, foreboding sky. filtered haze of life chains of iron. brilliant, flashing slide shows of horror. alone, torn, innocent limbs of lives. dull, dim, eyes brown bottle bottoms. painful trigger fingers, dog tags. tears on polished drunken bar. part of the "war series" Zeitgeist |

Love is a battlefield? Y'know, sometimes it's a good idea to rip off something white and just wave like we mean it! You write these purges very well...there's more to it than this though, and you express that also very well. Great metaphor here! |

This kind of human suffering is heartbreaking, Z. You write it so well. Ida |

I am surprised this one does not have more comments...so well written...my favorite descriptive line is: "brilliant, flashing slide shows of horror" ...so cool on so many levels |

Thank you all for your kind replies. Conflict of the heart or on the battle front fighting for our country, does it's damage to us all. A person's perception of reality can truely be bruised and only the right understanding and kindness even begins to set the wound. Again thanks for reading. Zeitgeist. |
