Windy Weather An old lady was standing at the rail on a ship She was clutching tight to her hat in the wind An extra strong gust blew her dress up past her waist It was something that she just could not rescind. A gentleman approached with a concerned look on his face, and said softly to her through his teeth Do you know your dress is blowing up so high And revealing all that there is to see underneath. ‘Yes I know’ she answered still hanging onto her hat, ‘But you haven’t got any pants on,’ he replied, People that are passing by can see all you possess It’s not the behaviour with which one can abide. The old lady looked down at her bare spindly shanks Then up at the young fellow who was having a peek, Anything that you see down there is 85 years old But my new hat, I only bought this week. Shame on that wind for pestering the lady so. This was a fun read. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |
