Gwendolyn and Bones are hungry. They decide they better climb off the cathedral roof and get a bite to eat. Both kids have money in their pocket, and could eat just about anywhere. They decide to get what they are used to eating. They find a street vendor selling Philly soft pretzels, the staff of life. Bobby |

A rather twisted, if not appropriate, staff for these two. Throw some mustard on it and I'm inclined to agree. Bon appetite! "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

Thanks Andrew, I never eat soft pretzels with mustard, I rather like them raw. We have an ice cream shop on the corner here that sells them. Soft pretzels are very big here in the hood. Bobby |

REJ... I see you're from Philly, so far be it from some backwater Californian that I should try to tell you how to eat a pretzel. My father taught me how to respect my betters. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

Thanks Andrew, I love soft pretzels. I'm always careful not to buy too many, because the kids here in the hood like them for lunch, and for some it's their only lunch, and perhaps dinner. I try not to be a pretzel hog. Bobby |

This makes me curious. Are Philly soft pretzels much different from the ones that they sell in New York? |

Thanks Earl, I have no idea about the soft pretzels they sell in New york. Bobby |
