Tears of Mourning Dew |

A heart untended weeps awake into the small hours of the night; A chain of recent unpromising events combines and blends with the melancholy melodies of the night. As the faint rays of the early light drizzles colour over the silhouetted land, the dark thins away. In muted suppression, the forlorn heart’s unshed tearssettles in a sheet of mourning dew. AAS |

Anoopa, This is a very gray and heart-rending poem. It brings about the shades of deep loss, and I hope that it came about only from a dream, but it feels quite life-like. Thank you for sharing. |

Anoo, may I suggest that you read your poem as though it was written by somebody else. Then you will see how very beautiful it is. Such beauty simply HAS to reduce the pain that gave it birth, at least a little. When the effect of the poem wears off, read it again for the solace it brings. Owl |

To me, your beautiful, melancholic words sound very promising ... tears bring release and the light is again perceived. Love, Margherita |

A vivid expression of uncompromising pain put together in a dirge of poetic realization. Well done! Eric the writer views a critic like a fire hydrant would view a dog |

Absolutely beautiful... true poetic expression The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears. |
