So is this it then? A routine of where abouts and what’s for dinners with the only disruptions to the day to days I can depend on Is my loved ones passing on LGR©2/22/11 |

Saying good-bye to loved ones in this world is very tough. I wish the poet well. Yet, how can one put the following? "Injustice is sometimes forced, but please be not a prisoner of your own making." |

It seems we strive to keep our lives on an even keel, even a well worn rut is preferred to upheaval of any kind. Yet we know full well it is only a matter of time before we start to lose those we love...the ultimate upheaval. Somehow that even keel doesn't seem so important anymore. Lori |

It is true that much depends upon the circumstances. |

Sometimes it helps to realize that those remaining days can, and are, very special... and that's what lifts you out of the rut. |

very nicely worded, Lori...this one reminds me a bit of a poem the wonderful poetess Elizabeth Bishop wrote on loss...I'm going to have to go google her to see if i can find it online...her poem was a lot longer but like yours, it was powerful and moving when i read it... There must be a poem in here somewhere. |

No, it’s not, Lori. And you know that better than most, but yes, I feel where you are coming from in this moment . . . Empathetic hugs Owl |
