Dream Is Collapsing

The water that made this world possible
Is now staring down at me
Big Brother Tsunami vs little brother human
It begins to crash into the landscape of our happiness
Destroying everything we thought we love
Gone are the buildings we built
People we created
Memories we tucked away
Projections of my unfortunate reality
Are creeping in, I can't control them
How do you outthink a dream?
I tried so hard to save her
We tried to get to a higher state of mind
But the water was just moving too fast
We were swept away
I knew that when I couldn't feel her hand
The nightmare was here.

this is so heart wrenching it nearly brought tears to my eyes...so very sad...nice work
