is it voyage or increment of falling star your palms absolve once one's eyes focus and an embrace, yours, finally lets go -------------- ------------------- ..Copyright 2011 Spiros Zafiris ..channeled; spirit Harmony ------------------------- |

A slow-motion goodbye in a hauntingly beautiful modern-day impressionist's pas de deux. I can see the dance into which the couple's reality fades. Owl |

..hi Owl..>>love your comment..i'm glad you see it that way.i saw it different ways at first but, then, i started to see it your way --(i didn't ask Harmony, one of my guiding spirits to give me Her take on the poem, cause i wanted to establish my own understanding of it)..at one point i thought that, perhaps,it concerned one letting go of a wrongly-held conviction (perhaps!) and finally seeing the full voyage, or increments of it, of a shooting star being released once the ultimate release was made..>>spiros |

And, Spiros, I absolutely love your comments on so many different levels. Many people may see this as a lyrical, beautiful and exceptionally kind way of telling me I am wrong. I am one of those people, simultaneously and paradoxically along with seeing that my interpretation and what you meant, are two intertwining facets of the same beauty/poem – except that mine is a metaphorical version of your literal expression of a particular concept/fact/viewpoint, and yours speaks to me so graciously of truth, learning and a forever growing wisdom, all of which are noble and beautiful elements. Another level I am enjoying is your delightfully refreshing and impressive understanding that sometimes the painter/poet/artist creates a beauty/concept/truth he/she didn’t realise he/she had created – something that I have always believed passionately and which I presented ardently to my pupils/students. I delighted in letting them see for themselves that an interpretation is not wrong, if irrefutable proof can be supplied for its validity, despite the arguments of the artist him/herself. I can see too, how Harmony has taught you so much and so well. Thank you for this delicious interaction. Owl |
