Lovers Bliss

I feel your hand touch my face
It sends shivers down my spine
I’ve waited for this moment
I could finally call you mine

My body aches for your embrace
For your tender loving touch
In all my life I’ve never found
Anything I’ve wanted so much

To see the love there in your eyes
Was worth the time it took
I quickly become paralyzed
With just a passing look

Your gentle gaze enslaves my soul
My heart is yours to hold
Every sigh I hear you whisper
Reveals a story yet untold

As we stand here in the darkness
I feel you trembling with desire
And those three words you said to me
Raise passion ever higher

Nothing sounds as sweet
As my name upon your lips
As you explore in gentle wonder
With searching fingertips

A lovers game of hide and seek
That you and I both win
The intensity ever higher soars
As I touch your heated skin

The wanting grows between us
With every breath we take
And the need just gets stronger
With every promise that we make

Your hands caress my body
Making me your own
I feel your heart beating faster
As we reach levels yet unknown

Our bodies move in unison
Our hearts begin to beat as one
As a new day begins to dawn
With the rising of the sun

I feel you tense beneath me
And see the pleasure in your eyes
Then you pull me closer
As moans turn to whispered sighs

Now we lie here close together
And share kiss after tender kiss
I whisper to you softly
“Let’s start each day like this!”
