another day turned into night will be day again tomorrow vicious circle-jerk sorta like my thoughts the ache is still inside me the one I put there back in tha 'seventies lived with it all these years you'd think I'd've found some way of getting over it thought I did a time or two nah never thought I did lied to myself been pulling hard time since that last night in Hollywood it comes and goes but always there you're gone now makes me think of the expression only the good die young you were good even Billy Joel would've thought so how beautiful the sound at night always at night when I hear the presence of your voice inside me haunts me for days I'm not whining just saying . . |

I haven't returned, Spiros. I am just thanking those who comment on my poems. So, I guess in a way I have returned. In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal. |
