Lawd, last night I heard you call my name And I knew I was dreaming just the same. Lawd, last night I heard you call my name And I knew I was dreaming just the same. Sometimes, I think I should have stayed. Just didn't know what you were thinkin' When you saw me walking out the door. Just didn't know what you were thinkin' When you saw me walking out the door. Well, I guess it don't matter anymore. I saw you sitting there by the railroad tracks. Didn't you have your face down in your hands? I saw you sitting there by the railroad tracks. Didn't you have your face down in your hands? It sure was a sad love that we had. There must be a poem in here somewhere. |

All I needed as I read this Muddy Waters-type blues was a sad harmonica playing in the background. Nice work. ~ Some people are like a Slinky -- not really good for anything -- but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs. ~ |
