Hear me, oh blank page shall I write shall I scribe on you for a while... another lover another love another woman I sought I thought... to wed and still in the damage control I hold on to hope silliness merely the resourcefulness of the so called hopeless romantics we poets we less common and more endangered fools and so it ends history repeats again a promise, a tower that never saw two lovers climb and where do we go from here? these, we, pages and so romanticism, as most women say of men is a rare or impossible thing to find but the truth is, in we men who misplace love in a hapless hazardous heart romanticism lies murdered on the floor for romantics aren't any less born now than an age ago they are just more commonly killed, destroyed, exorcised from men by a wounded woman scorned, long before they ever met but here stands one man, bruised, scattered, shattered and scarred the relentless romantic immortal, to climb another rose covered hill with another woman on another day. call me a fool, but... I will love again |

have to admit that this is a very interesting write...was truly stopped by this: "romanticism lies murdered on the floor for romantics aren't any less born now than an age ago they are just more commonly killed, destroyed, exorcised from men by a wounded woman scorned, long before they ever met" ...gonna have to go back and re-read this several times again to begin to understand it...in the mean time, really loved this write...my hat is off to your courage and your (what seems to be) limitless bounds of hope...extremely nicely done |

Many avenues of thought here that consider both sexes and the role they play together. I like how the man's depth is isolated to lonliness with love's addiction within the soul as this piece evloves. Reminds me of Billy Joel's "Innocent Man" Great writing! Eric in a relationship the me becomes we. |

Well done. you tell much truth here. It takes great courage to continue to seek love in the face of repeated hurt. But you have an excellent understanding of the damaged heart. Lori |
