if i should live to be one hundred i still shall not forget the love that lives inside of me the one that never quits i found a touch of heaven in the brush of his fingertips there was magic in the soft words he whispered with tender lips to a woman love is everything she puts her whole heart in it and even when all hope is gone her mind still dabbles in it There must be a poem in here somewhere. I tend to agree that women are much more emotional tied to their lovers/husbands, etc. than men. While we are emotional, so much more of the relationship depend on sex. We may lie about it and deny it, but it is basically how we are. Women are constructed in their fashion, men in theirs . . . Viva la difference! |

Like it very much Faith! I get the point and I know how love can linger sometimes it can be so tough. Us guys need to be loved too. Sometimes it sticks with us a long time too. Love the idea and the presentation. Eric |

Good poem. Agreeing with Eric. We raised three girls and three boys, now men and women.I found the young men faced lost love so much harder than the young women seemed to. I have no reasons, but I found it true. Now I see it once again in a young grandson.Guys hurt as hard or harder than young women. Women just talk or cry better. |

Hi, Faith. I'm finally here. Love the pic. As far as "when all hope is gone / her mind still dabbles in it" . . . Some can't let go as easy as others, male or female. ~ Some people are like a Slinky -- not really good for anything -- but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs. ~ |
