THINKING
17 July 2000

Electrifying brain-flashes.
Puzzle-pieces of logic reshape into flowing smudges
of harmonizing voice-clouds and blasts of rainbow sky-smears

and the spirit savours sunshine and forest fragrance.

And new worlds
and new words
and bluebirds
swoop into the face
of stagnation
and stagnation explodes
into a volcanic display
of a thousand, sky-high petals
that flutter into larks
that turn
and soar
above the clouds
quivering with song
that echoes through the mind
and lifts it
to greet
the wind
and sun.

owl, I like this it made me feel like taking a deep breath and clearing my head and letting go.

Whoa!!! I'm with Lori, my friend, Owl. I actually felt a kind of a rush as I was reading and whirling into the heavens with the petals, larks, wind and the sun. Samn good writing.

Thank you, Lori. I am glad you think that way. I just love thinking. I think of it as a past-time ranking with reading, hiking, playing tennis and the like.
