there was always a coming and going of men everyday was like christmas she had an entourage of sorts collecting men like some women do dolls or vases men of all shapes, ages and stations in life she looked beautiful always men worshipped her for it women hated her for it she could hook an unsuspecting male with a connecting glance or slight brush of the hand if you asked her she'd say "nonsense, sex is not the primary attraction" she just liked to spend time with men but at night she dreamed of being fiercely cold and cutting things with scissors There must be a poem in here somewhere. |

Faith, the ending was not in the least expected.... but hugely dramatic. Kudos, for skirting the edges, and staying inside the fine line. |

Whoa! I was thinking of a female relative of mine when I was growing up. To me she was the most beautiful woman in the world and she had the men dangling off her charm bracelet, but then I got to the last three lines and stopped and said to myself, I wonder if Aunt Tresa was like that. Could be, she was sure everything else you wrote. Loved this poem. ~ What's The Difference Between Roast Beef And Pea Soup? / Anyone Can Roast Beef. ~ |
