i had a dream so very real i awakened with a start they were only words you e-mailed me but they broke my heart there will be no more instant messaging no e-mails night and day you found a new love in an on-line chat room when i thought your love was here to stay i could say don't delete me from your address book but what good would it do for i knew one day our e-lationship would end the way on-line romances often do There must be a poem in here somewhere. |

For the most part online romances don't work, I've noticed. But then again, a lot of the other kind don't either. I think there is just much too much ego in certain people for things to work out. This is an era if instant gratification and moving on. ~ I might be in favor of national healthcare if it required all Democrats to get their heads examined. ~ |

passing shadows-thanks so much for reading and resonding to my poem...i enjoyed what you had to say JerryPat-I've never had any luck with on-line romance myself so i generally clear steer clear of it...yes, times have changed....i miss the old style romance of yester years There must be a poem in here somewhere. |
