"There are two kinds of light -- the glow that illuminates, and the glare that obscures." -James Thurber (1894-1961) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In bright day, her skin Is pink and pearl, but they wait; Though night dulls things that glow, When dark escapes its box. Things happen in obscure light Lips are bit, But no blood is lost. When streetlights come to life. Candlelight courtesy, Guides the way to paradise Where something more is gained, And sweat is not an irritation; Open window Summer-crickets know, The reason why Blood heats, surfacing at touch; Leg on leg, the insects bow. Songs refrains To sounds of rustle; Clothing coming off. |

Gotta hand it to ya, Ice, you wove the elements and insects very interestingly as you moved steadily down the beaten path of absolute nakedness . . . Gotta love it . . . And I do! ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways ~*~ |

deftly woven contrast of color and emotion in this, iceman....have to say the soft edges of light...and the sharp contours of the underlying dark...are seductive...erotic ...and who could resist the cricket song? smooth, stuff iceman~smooth~*~

Beautiful contrasts, tenderly handled....loving the inclusion of the insects, too...much enjoyed Amaryllis |
