I could hear what you said with your eyes when they wrote those words on my skin slowly making perfect letters like from mouths leaving a kiss on a window for some tomorrow you said it was a list under construction everything I could imagine you imagining and then reciting like a pledge of allegiance not to the flag but to the pole you slid down when there was a fire and you had water enough to make everything keep burning for hours and you said you liked that urgency better than ironing your proper gloves after praying and some day you would touch me without them ___________ daark |

Fine romantic, sesual poetry...well done as always, DS. Maybe one should never hope for the gloves to come off? Perhaps it might end the sensual journey, and then there would be nothing to look forward to, in a sexual progressive way...A hiding of the hand may enhance the intrigue..The feminine mystique, to me is arousing. Loved this poem |
