FLYING WITH YOUR WINGS
14 January 2012

You wrap your sigh-soft words
around me,
like a gossamer skin
and I stretch
gently, so gently,
cat-happy, deep-breathing,
on tiptoes,
arms curved around your words
to hold them
like foam-bath bubbles
and blow mine back at you,
back arched, feeling your
masked knight-in-melting-armour messages,
smiling at me,
dancing around me and with me,
teasing, advancing and retiring,
lifting me, flying me,
painting their magic,
hiding and calling my name,
in love-fun-laughter,
but always there,
your dewdrop whisper-words
in your moonlight
and my sunlight
and not a single thread
has ever
nor will ever
be broken,
and this I vow
in your honour,
yes,
your honour,
my Super Spiderman hero.
