Told Peter
Of his struggles

Tactics
Strategies
Flanking movements
Courageous maneuvers

And felt bad
He’d died
When he did
But old is old
Indifferent
To all battlefields

And a soldier
Not twenty
When suddenly
He met eternity

Nearby said quietly
I was there too

Sigh, sad and impressive. Went to read the history of that road ... Its original name doesn't fit anymore, as it is drenched with blood and surrounded by cemeteries.

Well done, sobering yes!
