          Romantics

Because of
other kind of men,
you stand alone
beside your sea of
  sorrows,
timeless tears,
and broken promises,
with proud-fine eyes
such as I have seen
  before
only in my dreams.

Though Life makes it hard,
and  it may ultimately lie
beyond all understanding,
as the final human ‘truth’
only Love still stands
above this grasping world.

Hey, b.e., you are who you are, and that calls for you to say the "damn proud of it" line.Damn straight, I agree with you. Let 'em say what they will, you are the only one living beneath your skin. You know who you are, "they" don't.

Cool, my friend ... and I too, have never worried about who thought what of me ... (unless I was after Her heart). You have to like me for who I am, not who you would have me be.
