KNOW
31 December 2011

She wanted him to
know that
however distantly removed
and in
however many ways,
and for however long,
there would always be waves of care
and share
and intimacy
and intense love
and passion
washing and watching over him
from far
across the seas
in whisper words
immortalised
in the birth
of dawn
and dusk.

"Know" act 2, scene 1

At dawn, seabirds lift,
Their wings
Thruming codes
Suspended by time;
Sounds over pinions rose,
Vibrating Like ribbons
Drawn taught in the wind.

By twisting, they drum
Messages steeped from oxygen,
Only she and he can hear:
Emotions travelling at lightspeed,
Until they reach receptive ears.

From the sea, unspoken, an answer
In the wet hiss of foam..
Intensity, love, and passion
As the day dark stars, appear

The numinous beings lay down-
Lancaster, and Kerr,
An oceans distance apart;
Yet the waves roll over them
As they kiss
From there to eternity.

I've sent such waves... and can only hope they were cherished... or some comfort... or at least not flicked away or tossed into a rubbish bin. *S* This is a beautiful write from a loving heart!!

Thank you for your kind words, Ruth.  My inspiration is . . . well, . . . inspirational!

I am sure your words were cherished.  Any man who didn't cherish them is not worthy of our Ruth!

Dear Owl, your touchingly beautiful words must feel to the receiver as fulfilling and inspiring as the rising sun.
