New Year's Eve of 2012 I shall open a fresh bottle for the soon beginning of the next end I hope to see and relish the years it had long spent waiting in the wood the angels share they say is what you pay for spirits that have passed and the grateful ones have bartered those favors with delicate kisses the more angelic the more fascinating the flavors of the exchanges and these are to be held gently passing the lips and savored on the tongue to you my spirited angels for all your sweet favors for all the patience of the years and for this next beginning many thanks for the brewed barley and the fresh water stilled Guid Hogmanay ! bliadhna mhath ùr |

Well, Ed, this is the most beautiful version of "To All the Girls I've Loved Before" that I have ever heard, and totally lacking in arrogance - instead perfectly clothed in a spirit of humility, simplicity, harmony and exquisite peace and an absolute pleasure to read. Smiles. My favourite line is "waiting in the wood." A really Happy New Year to you too, Ed. Owl |

One hell of a tribute to booze...were you spirited when you wrote it? |
