How Cute They Be School was just another day Of delight, always my thought. When moving heavy cart, its weight Took much more strength than brought. So after lifting "Elmo" cart Across a carpet old, The sweetest child rendered his thoughts Oh, he, so very bold. I said, "I think I need more muscle to move across the mat." This six year old, he then replied, "Oh no, I don't think it's that!" "Maybe I need more exercise," I said aloud with dread. "A genie is what you need Ms. S to make you younger instead!" (out of the mouths of...) M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." (Will Moss) |

...so funny...don't you just love the brutal clarity (without even effort on their part) that children seem to be able to conjure...short of cutting his tongue out or removing his eyes from their sockets, I think I would at least inform his parents that he needs an eye exam |

awwwwww Your retort could've been: but look at all the great times i've had, that you haven't had yet! Your time will come. You get both 'style' and 'experience' points for this write, Maur! LOL |

A genie in a bottle~~now wouldn't that be a great invention. I think one of the main reasons I work with children today is that their naivite at those young ages is really refreshing and gives me joy. (Always the best part of my day). Thanks for taking a peek at one of my day's happenings. M |

A very Art Linkletter* moment. This one of those shining moments that only a child can give. Gloom For those youthful writers Art Linkletter was a TV host of a show with a show named, so typical of the era, The Art Linkletter Show. One segment was “Kids say the Darnest Things” where Art asked children questions and they responded as only children can with brutal honesty that can cut the problem to the core. As Bob might say “Thanks for the memories!” |

Thanks again, everyone for enjoying my little "tale" from school. Another ice/cancellation school day here. If this keeps up the children will be going to school all summer to make up the lost days! M |

Beautiful in that only kids get away with the truth because they are so sincere and mean what they say in the best way. LOL thanks for sharing. jo |
