A lifetime organized into every corner of every shelf drawer and closet Packed high and tight and tidy A million decisions of what to do with it now flows into boxes backseats and laps And still the house continues to disperse it's memories Some held for generations in camel back trunks and cedar chests It feels like there is no end no empty no gone and done in sight Just stirring memories gathering dust. |

So sad, even the pleasant memories, those which draw a smile, must be offset by a degree of sadness. Beautiful, sentimental and honest poem, Lori. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Those dust covered memories age like fine wine; and once they're unearthed it's almost as if you were there again. |
