Were it the end of winter and the green showing through the melt was the promise of spring rather than hearty weeds of summer Were the sunshine the herald of Spring and not the highlighting of barren dreary I would be far more apt to enjoy it LGR(C)12/28/11 |

Yeah, it will be a while for your dream to come true, Lori. Still, it doesn't hurt to wish. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

"Were the sunshine the herald of Spring and not the highlighting of barren dreary I would be far more apt to enjoy it" Yep, it's "Snow Thaw" here too. From the deep freeze of snow and ice to the the warming Indian summer type weather can make for kind of ugly. But I love it anyhow... And your poem too. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

For sure, dear Lori! It's not time yet and hopefully winter will be given another chance to be white! I can only dream of it! Very nice work. Margherita |

I am so longing for spring this winter. I was going to buy fake flowers and put them in the snow beside my house. xoxoxo A |
