? It seems just a little while ago When, it was a brand-new year The days keep getting shorter And, so is my life, that’s clear! Another second has gone by To make up, another minute And as each day comes along I wonder,“If, I will be in it?” A moment passed, forever No chance for that second try It does no good, to look back Or, even ask the question, “Why?” All we can do, is look ahead To see, what we might see Because all that’s behind us Is, what, will never, ever, be.
