Distant bells are ringing softly. ~ Memories flood from long ago. When all was charmed ~ so pure and simple. ~ As Old Man River, life did flow. Oh, I am sooooooooooooo happy to read you and to hear you, my beautiful Angelo Terrestre! This is awesome and touches my heart ever so deeply, it is as if I was back home in Switzerland in my childhood. The same precious emotions we share. Wonderful words to cherish. You just stirred a smile that will linger within me for quite a while. I love you. Margherita |

Ditto Margherita. As I read this wonderful, rich with emotion, Christmas carol (that's how I think of it) my innocent childhood rose up and stayed with me until the poem was finished and I reread it. So many memories to ponder. So many instances of "trying to be good," for Santa doesn't like naughty little boys. Thanks, Linda, for the trip down memory lane. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
