Sometimes we need to stop and smell those roses;
          Breathing in life's nectar, don't frown and pout.
There's beauty in dark clouds, even the lightning within,
           Don't walk the same route,

Look all around you, man, I vocalize to myself,
          There are things to do and places to see,
Little children laughing, old men grinning ear to ear,
          Life holds the key.

There is a burden fitting your thoughts into poetry,
          Yes, we can love another and write poems in stone,
But let's not forget the miracle of that love,
          Time is on loan.

Time is on loan.

It is, indeed... and all we can do is make the best of the time we have and make every day count.

I enjoyed this very much!!

Hello suthern, good to see you here, and thank you for your comments. They are appreciated very much.

You have two choices in life:
You can stay single and be miserable,
or get married and wish you were dead.
