Carol of the Bells

Oh carol of the bells, whisper softly in my ear,
no cacophony of festive revelry,
your harmony exalts me, warms my soul with Christmas cheer,
the choir in my heart sings just for thee.

Oh carol of the bells, caress my yuletide bliss,
velvet red and ermine white, adorn your face,
I have waited for a lifetime, for such a night as this,
for mistletoe, and ruby lips to taste.

Oh carol of the bells, how radiant you are,
bedecked and bedazzled by the fire,
your gift, to let me stand and just worship from afar,
a smile, a word, before we both retire.

Oh carol of the bells, time is fleeting, parties done,
your fond farewells still ringing in my ear,
like good wishes of the season, quickly here then quickly gone,
I hang my head and wait… another year.

This is very very nice, dear Mick. It's a joy to consider how beautifully your Christmas party has inspired you.

I absolutely love the Carol of the Bells... and you have paid it a great tribute.  Indeed, Christmas went way to fast this year.

Great song!  Heartfelt journey from year end to year end.
Enjoyed.
(Is that an Ovation you're playing)?
