STILL
2 December 2011

She read his name in the clouds
and felt his voice caressing her skin
and heard his eyes whisper deep inside her soul
and the missing stopped her clocks.

... like a little death.

Such intense emotions rendered with your usual mastery, dear Owl.

Diana

Time often changes the meaning of things, even love.  Would that we could stop the clock in the perfect moment and still live it forever. Hugs!

" the missing stopped her clocks."
This old hippie loves that line.
I don't think the clock completly stopped, but time has a way to stall, being not so perfect in beat...the problem is that time seems to linger longer during certain periods of our existance, like when the heart is in distress.
