A man of thousand faces
A man who shouldn't be
A figment of imagination
A part of my identity

Everyone who sees him
He has a different face
Blending into the background
He seems oddly out of place

He always changes
Different from day to day
His disguise so clever
Slowly breaking away

A man of thousand faces
A man who shouldn't be
The question I keep calling
Is this man me?

Like Night needs Day
Good needs Evil
I need you to be complete...

Hopefully, right? Well done.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

We all show the face to others that's most needed at the time, the others are hidden from sight but that doesn't mean we don't pull them out to look at them on occasions.

A poet must leave traces of his passing not proof.

There's the you I see and the you, you see. There's the me I see and the me you see besides those two there is the you and me we want to be and the you and me that others see.It becomes so scrambeld that I wonder if we will ever see the true you or true me. We carry so many memories, sometimes it is truly hard to see. But who is to say we can't be filled with complexity? Best to you, jo

Very nicely written poetry.
I think a question only the author can answer.

Enjoyed the read.
