Unthreaded the loom of life Revealing words unspoken Like a spell cast upon those Who are starry eyed incomplete So subtle the movement A mere ripple in a sea of time Contemplate this gentle stillness Calm the maelstrom in my heart Restore my crumbling psyche With naught but wisps of hope My house of cards collapsing With the burden Of a thousand wrongs Winding is this endless road No beginning nor end Until I sever the bonds with the Shackles of Misery It will be A very lonely road to take... Just Lil Old Me... Very interesting write. I very much liked this, but must admit it is sort of deep which I also like. I hope you find happiness at the end of the road. Thanks for sharing...Paul ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |

"Until I sever the bonds with the Shackles of Misery It will be A very lonely road to take..." Again, great writing. (((BUT))) with heartbreaking sadness. Maybe at the crossroads you take a right and change course? JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |
