Don't Walk Away

Don't Walk Away

I didn't want you to walk away
but you went ahead and did it anyway
and now I must live without you,
so it seems, farewell my dreams.
Its not an easy thing to condone
but you left me with no choice
in this matter when you walked
away for reasons of your own.
And even though I love you
with all of my heart
it is hard to love a woman
that has no comittment
and chooses to walk away.
So now I must say goodbye,
for me to want someone to stay
that wants to leave
makes me seem petty
and selfish
and even possessive.
Now, I must tell you
that you can walk away
as you have already
done so anyway.
And you are free to say goodbye,
and you are free to let love die,
and you are free to live your
life without me.
Goodby my love.
Walk away.
Walk away..
