Dear page, my dear blank page how many thoughts I molded for you today. But feelings and thoughts do slip these lips as slumber, grabs hold, these lids. And so, and so my room is cold as heat escapes, this heart wherefore, what for do sights abhor and does this tale now start... I am a man from a warm and heat filled land no seasonal weather I knew this place, this home far, from where I roam where history and labor part ring bells, ring bells iron tells its tale of time and terror fought. A place so dark, a place so cold no man can hide his thought. Shall I, shall we hold this place in time in a land unique, where finality has reached its peak. Its grave forlorn, with many story torn a man, a mob, and crown of thorns. Escape this place, revive disgraced rebuilt, redeemed, reborn. Where winter is hell and cold fingers dwell to wait the coming spring. 5 months, what time by then what chimes and what our future brings. Close eyes, dream wise with careful disguise and step with joyful wings. In ear, we hear and mouth, so wide fueled by what we sing. So we, so she who beckons me where shall this story go? In time, in rhyme the shepherds pine to lead us where'ver, we, shall go. |

My friend in poetry this was excellent. I was so taken by your oft repetitive lines, such as . . . "And so, and so / my room is cold" . . . Working the words such as you did in this poem bonds the reader to you. At least it bonded me with you. Congratulations. Stand. Clap.Clap. Take a bow. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
