As soft as the setting sun
A gentle kiss like lover's high
All in remembrance of what is lost
Hoping to have again what once was
Sapphire eyes, to drown inside
Satin lips screaming to be touched
Now all is cold
The flames of passion frozen tonight
Time passes by with each tear
Falling softly on the floor
And for each tear a day goes by
Eternally sleeping is my heart
Untill you awake me yet again
With a loving word...

Lost love poems, oh how we like to write them. I quite understand every syllable of this well-constructed one too. Been there. Done that.
