Hello, camera! Rice planters rest their tired backs as they smile at you. |

So eloquent! My first reaction to this was to go click on the hungersite and on freerice.com. Great impact, see! Margherita |

Great observation. (So long as they smile and not shoot). JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

Thank you JL and Margherita for your kind comments. JL, it is a long time now since the 1968 Tet Offensive was such a major tactical defeat, yet strategic victory due to mass media and political lies, for the NVA and Viet Cong totalitarians... a lotta Nike sweatshops, dead boat people, and tortured monks under the bridges since then... ---- I understand the UN's WFP does some decent work---however I prefer to support private, often faith-based charities such as Operation Blessing, Samaritan's Purse and World Vision. The World Food Programme has had its recent problems... http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2010/03/23/food-for-naught.html From the diffused light of December blinks on a Tannenbaum. Shazam! |
